Apple is soon expected to launch a new budget-oriented iPhone. Just recently, it was reported that this entry-level iPhone will launch as 2020 iPhone SE. However, the device has been spotted on a Chinese e-commerce website called, which claims that Apple will be selling the phone with iPhone 9 name label. If rumors are be believed, the successor to the iPhone SE will be launched on April 15.

The listing suggests that Apple will start shipping the iPhone 9 starting May 1. This means that the Cupertino giant could launch the more improved version of the budget iPhone SE in April. The listing doesn’t reveal any other details or design of the upcoming iPhone. While the brand is yet to confirm the exact launch date, the listing at least suggests that the iPhone 9 launch imminent.

If leaks and rumors are anything to go by the handset will come with a design similar to that of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 series. The iPhone SE 2020 is expected to feature a 4.7-inch Retina HD display similar to iPhone 8. However, it is expected to be built with a metal chassis as opposed to glass back seen on the iPhone 8 series. This also means the device will lack wireless charging support.

As for the pricing, Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that the price of the new iPhone will start from $399, which is around Rs 30,290 in India. As for the features and design, the sequel to the iPhone SE is expected to pack Apple’s A13 processor. The same chipset is also powering the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Plus. The 2020 iPhone SE could feature the same design as the iPhone 8, which is currently available for Rs 38,999 via Flipkart.

9to5Mac recently claimed that the 2020 iPhone SE will be available in three storage options – 64GB, 128GB and
256GB. The company is said to offer the device in three color options, including White, Black, and PRODUCT (Red). Apple might also sell five iPhone SE cases. These could be Black silicone, White silicone, Red leather, Black leather, and Midnight blue leather.
