National Video Game Day (not to confuse with National Video Games Day that is observed on September 12) is celebrated each year on July 8. While its origin still remains a mystery, some believe, the National Video Game Day to have been found in 1991. The day is meant for “kids of all ages who enjoy playing video games to celebrate the fun they have while playing them.” Video games are booming over the past few decades. The 90s however, was an unwonted decade that bestowed upon us epic video games.
